To deepen the exchange and cooperation of young talents across the Taiwan Strait, on July 9th, the "Quanjia Qinchuang Future" Lu-Tai Youth Science and Education Exchange Festival kicked off at Licheng No. 2 Middle School in Jinan City. Nearly 200 people, including teachers and students from schools on the island such as Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology, Pingtung University of Science and Technology, and Taoyuan City Dacheng High School, as well as people from the fields of education, culture, and science and technology, were invited to attend the event.

Taiwanese guests visited the Science and Technology Museum, Pottery Museum and Wenshao Art Museum of Licheng No. 2 Middle School, experienced scientific practice projects and felt the charm of intangible cultural heritage. A young entrepreneurial team from Taiwan showcased their carefully crafted mille-feuille cakes, cold-brewed tea and other distinctive cultural and creative products on the spot, and introduced their product design concepts and future entrepreneurial plans.

In the school gymnasium, a friendly Go match between Shandong and Taiwan youth was held under the theme of "Quantai Chess Rhythm, United Hearts". The young players from Taoyuan Municipal Dacheng High School and the Jinan Go Association sat around a table, exchanging their Go skills, making friends through the game and enjoying themselves in it.

At the "Intelligence Integration Across the Taiwan Strait, Win-win Future" Lu-Taiwan Youth Science and Education Robot Friendship Competition, students from Jinan and Taiwan competed on the same stage, participating in comprehensive competitions, intelligent shooting, open source challenges and other events, experiencing the joy of operation, sparking technological sparks, cultivating team spirit and enhancing mutual friendship.

On that day, the "Meet in Qilu, Love for China" 2024 Lu-Tai Youth Cultural Exchange Festival was launched simultaneously at Licheng No. 2 Middle School. The launch ceremony showcased 35 sub-activities, including the "Quan Jia Qin Chuang Future" Lu-Tai Youth Science and Education Exchange Festival. Guests and young talents from both Shandong and Taiwan gathered together and presented wonderful cultural and artistic programs. Everyone sang a song together, demonstrating a harmonious and united atmosphere of "both sides of the Taiwan Strait are one family".

It is understood that the "Quanjia Qinchuang Future" Lu-Taiwan Youth Science and Education Exchange Festival is a series of activities for the exchange of young talents with Taiwan held by Jinan City, aiming to build a platform for "communication, interaction, heart-to-heart connection and integration" for young talents from Jinan and Taiwan. During the exchange festival, special activities such as the "Qilu Style, Cross-Strait Affection" Outstanding Middle School Students' Chinese Culture Study Camp and the Jizhu-Taiwan Youth Volunteer Public Welfare Exchange Summer Camp will also be held.
